The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on October 09, 2026, issued reminder - Reporting of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications and systems offered and used by members of the Exchange.
MCX has mandated all active Trading Members using algorithmic software who executed at least one algorithmic trade during April 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026, to submit details of their Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications and systems, irrespective of whether they use such systems. Members not using AI/ML systems must also submit a NIL report.
Members registered with NSE and other exchanges are required to submit their AI/ML details to NSE, which will share the information with the respective exchanges. Members not registered with NSE must submit the details directly to MCX through the Enhanced Portal at https://member.mcxindia.com. The submission must be made in the prescribed format by October 15, 2026. Non-compliance may attract action by the Exchange.
